Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Todopus — the macOS and iOS applications, our website at todopus.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Todopus Software ("Todopus", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You can use Todopus locally without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for the security of your credentials and for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@todopus.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
• Probe, scan, or disrupt the Service or its supporting infrastructure.
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or abusive content.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

Your content

You keep all rights to the tasks, notes, attachments, and other content you put into Todopus ("Your Content"). You grant Todopus the limited license needed to host, transmit, display, and back up Your Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not claim ownership.

Connected services

When you connect Google, Apple, Microsoft, or GitHub, your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Todopus is not responsible for third-party services and is not liable for changes to their behavior, availability, or pricing.

Subscriptions and payment

Todopus is currently free during beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will give clear notice and you'll choose whether to opt in. Paid subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store are governed by Apple's billing terms in addition to these Terms.

Beta features

Some features may be labeled "beta" or "preview". They are provided as-is, may change or be removed without notice, and may have higher risk of bugs.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if your use creates risk or legal exposure for Todopus or other users. Data deletion follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data will be preserved or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Todopus Software and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 50.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Todopus Software harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Todopus Software is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
